CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

Atomu and I started working together in 2020. During that time I was battling with constant injuries specifically left knee tendinitis and left shoulder issues. Atomu was able to not only get me healthy but come back even stronger allowing me to qualify for my first college nationals. Moving forward with Atomu, he has been nothing but great. I’ve hit milestones I never believed I would reach. If I ever got hurt, he would give me exercises that helped me recover and eventually would be back on the platform hitting PRs. During meets, theres no one else that wants to see you succeed more. His knowledge of powerlifting and certain movements really sets him apart from others. If you describe exactly what is hurting you, what you seem to be getting stuck at, what is bringing you discomfort, etc. He will do all he can to make sure that specific problem goes away. He doesn’t just give the typical cookie cutter program and walk away, he makes sure the program is catered towards you. Over the past few years, Atomu has been an amazing coach and friend. I would not be where I am in terms of strength and health without him. If you’re looking to take powerlifting to the next level and/or looking to take lifting/your body seriously, Atomu is your guy.

I’ve been under Atomu since 2021 and we have made a lot of progress since then. Before Atomu I was at a 215kg squat, 117.5kg bench, and 255kg deadlift. Now I’m currently at a 255kg squat, 152.5kg bench, and 280kg deadlift, adding 100kg to my total since then, while still getting stronger to this day. All of this is possible because of his knowledge and experience in powerlifting, programming, troubleshooting, biomechanics, and rehabilitation in his decade or so long run in the powerlifting scene. Atomu is a great coach that truly cares and knows how to get you stronger physically and mentally. I’ve dealt with many highs and lows with Atomu; from when I hit gym and competition PR’s and when I got injured or tweaked something. He is someone you can genuinely trust to get you where you want to be. If you’re willing to work hard for your goals, Atomu will work just as hard with you for it because he cares that much. Atomu is someone I can truly say is a top level coach and a lifelong friend.

Before even officially being coached by Atomu he was always helping me out with my technique and definitely lowered the learning curve for bench and dead’s which were my most troubled lifts. He coached me for about a year and helped me break past the 400 barrier on bench, helped me rep out 700 for the first time on squats, and most of all helped me figure out a technique on dead’s that I could consistently hit around 600 more often than I ever have before. He communicates very efficiently on any changes that need to be made to technique and especially will fine tune your bench. Atomu also designs very thought out programs to fit each individual athlete and not some cookie cutter program that he hopes will work. Overall I genuinely believe that Atomu is the best coach currently in powerlifting and would recommend him to anyone who takes powerlifting seriously.

Atomu showed me key bench cues that really gave me the confidence to consistently tackle 402lbs on bench, I had trouble pressing this weight at the time. I eventually approached him for coaching and working with him has been fantastic. He really pays attention to my movement patterns and makes the adjustments to fine tune my leverages. Since working with him I added 110lbs to my total and finally achieved a 2k total. Atomu is willing to put in the work to get you to your strongest as long as you meet him at every step of the way. The most passionate dude who tells you what you need to hear.

I’ve been under Atomu and with Atomu Strength Systems for 3 years now. I can say honestly that it has been nothing but a pleasure working with Atomu. His ability to take a lifter from what they thought was their best to better than they could have imagined is an amazing thing. He is very intelligent in his program structure and it doesn’t take long for him to figure out what needs to be done to see results. I appreciate his time management and communication the most as he is always able to respond and work with his clients unlike a lot of other coaches in the area. Very much worth the investment and I highly recommend Atomu to anyone wanting to improve in powerlifting!

Atomu has been my coach for just over a year now, and it’s been such a great experience. I saw a friend at a meet who was being coached by him- she couldn’t recommend him enough, so I decided to reach out to him shortly after and I’m so glad I did. From day one, I’ve appreciated how straightforward and honest he is. His feedback has pushed me to grow so much as a lifter. He’s also consistent with communication which keeps me accountable and focused on my lifting goals. Even through my many times of self-deprecating and doubt, he’s continued to believe in me and that support means a lot to me. Truly grateful to have such an amazing coach!

I’ve been working with Atomu for almost two years, and it’s been a great experience throughout. One of the things I appreciate most about him is his attention to detail; especially when it comes to technique. he does’t let anything slide, and that’s exactly what I needed. He always straight-up with feedback, offering constructive criticism that’s clear, honest, and focused helping me improve. That kind of direct approach has pushed me to stay accountable and work on my weakness rather than avoid them.

I had been training for powerlifting for about 2 and a half years when I started working with Atomu. I had some complications with preexisting injuries that were causing my progress to slow rapidly. We started doing some valuable exercises to help strengthen and acclimate the weaker muscles to help me get to a level of being the strongest I’ve ever felt. I am now in prep for my next competition with expectations to set prs across the board and blow my current best out of the water.

I started working with Atomu with the goal of qualifying for collegiate nationals. As someone who’s dealt with frequent injuries, he helped me train pain-free while still making consistent progress. Thanks to his guidance, I hit the qualifying total with ease. I also think his attention to detail and his response time is also a valuable trait because it allowed for me to adjust during that session and avoid injury! Overall, my experience with Atomu has been amazing, I really have no complaints.

When I first started with Atomu, I knew it was going to be tough. Hearing from peers and other athletes, I expected a challenge—and that’s how I knew it was the right fit for me. I’m not looking to compete, but I’ve always had that inner drive to push myself. Atomu lit that fire in me and pushed me every training block. In just six months under his guidance, I’ve hit multiple PRs and, more importantly, learned how mentally and physically tough we really are. His ability to adapt and tailor my program has been nothing but beneficial. The biggest takeaway from the Atomu Strength System? It’s been the best investment I’ve made in this sport.

My coaching experience with Atomu greatly shifted my trajectory as a lifter and coach and helped me hit lifetime goals I would have never believed were possible in that time frame. Me and Atomu started in Feb of 2024 as a way to prep me for my first meet. I had known him for quite some time and was aware of how well his athletes had been progressing so I was very motivated to do the same. At the start, things were difficult as I was making tech adjustments and learning how to adjust to a whole new coaching style but after I got through the first few blocks, everything just started clicking. By the time it was June and I was getting ready to compete, I had hit ATPRs on all my lifts and had added more than 50kgs to my previous total. Atomu’s approach to coaching has been enlightening, and he always finds ways to make the best out of your weaknesses as a lifter. He doesn’t just let you make excuses for yourself or sell yourself short; he truly will set you up to be better. His response times are astonishingly fast and his feedback is clear and direct. He often uses videos or cues to help reinforce ideas and concepts to help your technique. Technique is key for him and he will not just make you stronger, but will help you feel good doing it. He is constantly updating his programming styles and making positives changes and researching so that he can be better for his athletes and it shows in the progress that all of them continue to make. Truly, it is hard to ask for more from a coach and his coaching has inspired me and many others to be BETTER.  If you want a coach that will push you to competition standard and help you be the best you can on meet day, Atomu is 1000% that person.

Right before I started under Atomu, my poor technique in lifting caused excruciating lower back pain that made simple motions like putting on socks, bending down, and sitting immensely difficult. Atomu not only provided effective exercises that elimiinated the pain and helped heal my back, his personalized programming allowed me to acheve all-time PRs in all of my lifts. In a span of a year, I went from being unable to sit down without pain to competing and hitting PRs on the platform at Collegiate Nationals and Raw Nationals.

I’m now approaching my 3rd year under Atomu’s guidance and have gone through many life changes and unexpected circumstances during that time, but Atomu always helped adjust and accommodate around my needs. I had 4 back-to-back meets in less than a year, with the longest meet prep block being only around 4.5 months long, but still Atomu was able to help me achieve PRs and a bigger total with each successive meet. Atomu exemplifies what it means to love what you  do; his drive and goal as a coach is to help his athletes become the best they can be. His honesty is a reflection of his work ethic and commitment as a coach, and in order to fully experience the benefits of his guidance, it requires you to push yourself and to face your flaws and failures with a growth mindset both in and out of the gym. If you are looking to take powerlifting seriously, I highly recommend joining Team ASS!
